Update in Hindi

Hello!

Several days ago I made an update video about my project for my Hindi speaking followers. I posted it to my Twitter and Facebook accounts but totally spaced on posting it here. I’m still getting the hang of all these social media outlets. Further updates after the video below:

Thank you again to my Hindi speaking followers – both for your support and encouragement with my language learning progress and also with your general help in researching and preparing my my trip in September.

Updates since my last post have to do with changes in my itinerary. Now, in addition to the locations I mentioned here, I will also be visiting Udaipur and Rishikesh. At the moment I don’t have contacts in those cities, but I am working on making them. If you know of any organizations or individuals working in those cities that might be interested in speaking with me during my trip please drop me a line or comment on this post. Thanks!

Another Way to Help

Hello Everyone!

So far I’ve had a lot of financial support from a lot of people toward the expenses associated with my India research trip. Until a few days ago you could only donate through GoFundMe, but if you’d like to help out but you’d rather give something more specific and not through the website, I’ve created an Amazon Wishlist containing items I need for my trip. You can purchase these directly and they will be sent to me. Once you do so, I will take the cost of that item and deduct it from the total amount needed for the trip. I update the GoFundMe page manually from my end and no fee is assessed, but the total amount needed adjusts to reflect the new amount needed. So, please check out my India Amazon Wishlist page and contribute whatever items you want! The GoFundMe is still running as well, so please share it with your friends, family and colleagues! Click the links above to find either way to donate.

Thank you!

Exciting News & A Request for Your Support

Updates! First some housecleaning updates – If you are following my‪ #‎OnePiece‬ project, I will now be updating those exclusively on my twitter page. I’m up to #17 so you can go check out what you’ve missed on Twitter @DHCH_Project .

Second – I have finalized all the individuals and organizations I will be speaking with while in India and have confirmed interview and meeting dates with all of them! =) The full list of those willing to generously spend their time with me during my visit is:

-Sulabh International
-We Mean to Clean
-Vatavaran
-Bunch of Fools
-Saahas Zero Waste
-Rudra Environmental Solutions
-Excel Industries
-Temsutula Imsong

A HUGE thank you to everyone above. These organizations have already patiently answered many of my questions and provided me with helpful advice on who else I can speak to while in India. So while this is the “official” line up, I may be informally meeting with many others. It’s shaping up to be a productive and educational trip.

Third – Now that I’ve made these important commitments it’s more important than ever for me to raise the funds I need in order to make the trip a success. I still need help with transportation and food expenses, visa paperwork, vaccines, as well accommodation and interview supplies. Please help me by sharing the link below! It’s critical for me to fund all these different aspects of the trip to ensure it is safe and productive. Thank you all! https://www.gofundme.com/cmk3sz6s
